Job Description
The Accountant I is responsible for recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and resolving reconciling items in accordance with GAAP. Other responsibilities include billings to outside vendors, maintenance of fixed asset records, and preparing accounting statements and reports.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Strong spreadsheet (Excel) skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
