Central Laboratory Supervisor

The Central Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for supervising laboratory staff, developing and implementing training programs, and ensuring compliance with laboratory regulations. The role also involves project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or Clinical Laboratory Science
• NCA, ASCP or equivalent certification
• Five years of recent experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
• Thorough knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements
• Proven skills and experience with Electronic Medical Record, Laboratory Information Systems and associated technology applications
• Proven project management skills and knowledge
• Proven computer knowledge and ability
• Proven Leadership skills such as partnership/collaboration, coaching/development, engagement, healthy communication, outcomes driven & critical thinking, integrity, and tolerance of ambiguity and flexibility to changing system needs
