Job Description
Regions Hospital is hiring a friendly, organized, and adaptable individual to join the Float Pool as a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). The HUC will use communication and critical-thinking skills to support the nursing staff and create a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year clerical or healthcare experience
- Recent (within 1 year) graduate of a clerical/healthcare training program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a HUC or related healthcare education program
- Previous experience using an electronic medical record
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Demonstrates understanding of patient rights and privacy
