Job Description
Regions Hospital is hiring a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join the Float Pool. The role requires excellent customer service and communication skills to support nursing staff and create a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year clerical or healthcare experience or recent graduate of a clerical/healthcare training program.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a HUC or related healthcare education program.
- Previous experience using an electronic medical record.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrates understanding of patient rights and privacy.
