Job Description
The Histotechnician position at Regions Hospital involves processing small non-complex specimens, performing tests and procedures in a histology laboratory, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. The role requires a self-motivated, quality-focused individual to join an innovative and collaborative team.
Requirements
- Education: Associates degree from an accredited Histotechnician program or equivalent.
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: ASCP or ASCPi board certification as a Histotechnician or Histotechnologist.
- Preferred Qualifications: One year of full-time acceptable experience in a histopathology laboratory within the last five years
