The laboratory assistant is responsible for collection of various sample types, performing phlebotomy, and providing collection instructions to patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensure or Certificate from an Accredited program of Phlebotomy
- 2-3 years of experience performing phlebotomy
- Experience with pediatric and oncology patients
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems
