Job Description
The laboratory assistant is responsible for collection of various sample types, performing phlebotomy, and providing a safe and pleasant experience for patients. They must exhibit a high level of trust in their abilities and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience performing phlebotomy
- Experience with pediatric and oncology patients
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Licensure or Certificate from an Accredited program of Phlebotomy
