Lab Assistant

The laboratory assistant is responsible for collection of various sample types, performing phlebotomy, and providing collection instructions to patients. They must exhibit a high level of trust in their abilities to put the patient at ease and provide a safe, warm, and pleasant experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience performing phlebotomy
• Experience with pediatric and oncology patients.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems.
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Licensure or Certificate from an Accredited program of Phlebotomy
