Sonographer

Riverway Clinic is seeking a Sonographer to join their Radiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams, ensuring patient care, and working cooperatively with physicians and co-workers.

Requirements

• Confirm patient information on control sheet/exam request
• Select proper technical factors and operate equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Document and process reports, organize VCR tapes/films, and review finished exams for completeness
• Maintain accurate records and statistics of all exams for Quality Control and patient outcomes
• Ensure an organized, safe, and professional environment
• Develop new opportunities, tools, and methods of teaching
• Maintain ARDMS Registration by completing required continuing education
• Delegate appropriately and remain accountable for safe delivery of that delegated care
• Assist with the updating of current, and development of new procedures as appropriate
