Sonographer

Riverway Clinic is looking to hire a Sonographer to join their Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ultrasound exams and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Must be credentialed by one of the following Credentialing bodies: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or Registry eligible graduate of a CAAHEP accredited ultrasound program
• Must be credentialed in Abdomen (RDMS or RT(S)) and Vascular (RVT or RVS)
• Preferred experience in specific ultrasound area, e.g. OB/GYN, vascular, General Ultrasound and knowledge of relative anatomy
• Must have skills and abilities in organizing effectively, establishing priorities, understanding regulations and procedures to administer patient care, knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care, knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish safe working conditions, ability to maintain records, write reports and respond to correspondence, skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance, maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public, ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations, ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures, ability to communicate clearly, ability to work quickly under pressure, works productively as a team player
