Job Description
Olivia Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Supervisor Registered Nurse, Ambulatory Clinic to provide leadership and support for clinical and administrative duties. The position is responsible for supervising assigned staff, overseeing day-to-day operations, and maintaining a professional working atmosphere.
Requirements
- Supervision of assigned staff
- Conducts performance reviews, provides coaching and the first level of discipline
- Maintains and fosters open lines of communication
- Assists with developing policies and procedures and administers them fairly
- Maintains a professional working atmosphere within the department
- Responsible for onboarding new staff and ongoing training
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the department
- Assess, plan and implement care of patients as needed
- Collaborate with medical care providers regularly or as needed
- Maintain staffing levels and patient assignments to assure safe care
- Assure that clinical quality measures are achieved and provide feedback, direction and mentoring to staff
