ER REGISTRATION CLERK

Performs patient registration duties for the Emergency Department, Observation, Inpatient and Swingbed admissions, ensuring that all applicable demographic, guarantor, contact, privacy and financial information and insurance information is captured in compliance with Medicare/Medicaid and other payor regulations.

Requirements

• Typing speed of 45 wpm
• Familiar with operating personal computers and knowledge of general clerical duties
• Medical terminology experience preferred
• BLS certification preferred
• One-year office experience preferably in a medical setting desired but not required
