Job Description
Hebbia is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team and drive technical direction and delivery. The role requires strong technical ability, leadership skills, and experience in building and scaling backend systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience at a venture-backed startup or top-tier technology company, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or engineering management role
- Strong systems design and architecture skills
- Experience building and scaling backend systems, data pipelines, or platform infrastructure in production
- Track record of hiring and developing strong engineers
- Strong product intuition
- High ownership and urgency
- Comfortable working in ambiguity
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and modern backend technologies (Python, TypeScript, Go)
