Hebrew Public is seeking a skilled Special Education Teacher to provide traditional push-in and pull-out support for elementary students with IEPs. The ideal candidate brings strong instructional skills, a deep understanding of specially designed instruction, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students while maintaining strong systems for compliance, progress monitoring, and communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education or actively working toward certification
- Experience working in urban school communities and a commitment to building strong relationships with students, families, and staff is preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP implementation, accommodations, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Demonstrated ability to deliver small-group, targeted, and differentiated instruction
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, service providers, and families to support student success
