Job Description
We're looking for a Remote Medical Biller to join our growing team at The Coordinators, working with a client in the healthcare/podiatry space.
Requirements
- Submit and manage approximately 228 insurance claims per week with accuracy and timeliness
- Follow up on unpaid and denied claims and work rejections through to resolution
- Call patients regarding outstanding balances, billing questions, and insurance matters
- Post payments and reconcile accounts within the practice’s EHR/practice management system (CureMD)
- Verify patient insurance eligibility prior to claim submission as needed
- Coordinate with the office manager on billing priorities, reporting, and escalations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records across all cases
- Ensure timely processing to prevent delays in reimbursement
- Identify and flag billing issues or inconsistencies proactively
