Job Description
As a Housing Specialist, you will work with clients to help in the restoration of housing stability, decrease their risk of shelter entry or re-entry, and support their efforts towards self-sufficiency. You will conduct intake assessments, provide landlord/tenant mediation services, and assist with tasks related to obtaining permanent housing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in housing placement services
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Dependable and resourceful with excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
- Valid US driver's license (plus)
