Residential Aide

As a Residential Aide at HELP USA, you'll ensure the safety of clients, security of facilities, and orderly operation of shelters for single adults. Responsibilities include conducting intake, patrols, managing client possessions, and documenting incidents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills
• FDNY F-02 Fireguard Certificate required (30-day allowance to obtain)
• Work experience in residential facilities
• Experience and capacity to work with people experiencing homelessness or other disadvantaged people
• Strong relationship and customer service skills
• Computer literacy with Microsoft applications
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Ability to provide night and weekend coverage as needed
