Job Description
HELP USA seeks a Safety Monitor Supervisor to oversee Safety Monitors at New Leaf, a newly opened family shelter in Brooklyn, New York. The Safety Monitor Supervisor will ensure residents' safety, help residents feel welcome, and supervise Safety Monitors on duty.
Requirements
- New York State Security Guard License
- FDNY F-80
- FDNY F-02
- High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience, or capacity to work with homeless families/individuals and/or disadvantaged populations
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide night and weekend coverage as needed
- Computer literacy with Microsoft applications
