Job Description
As a Safety Officer, you'll help maintain a safe and secure environment at one of our transitional housing shelters. You'll be one of the first contacts with our residents when they enter one of our facilities.
Requirements
- New York State security guard license
- FDNY F-02 within 30 days of hire
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of security experience
- Work experience in residential facilities
- Ability to work with people experiencing homelessness
- Strong relationship and customer service skills
- Computer literacy with Microsoft applications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
