Job Description
Henkels & McCoy is seeking a Foreman - Structured Cabling to join our team in the Baltimore, Montgomery County, and DC areas. The Foreman is a first in-line supervisor responsible for managing onsite construction activities, mentoring technicians, and promoting a safe work culture.
Requirements
- 6+ years directly related experience, including managing crews of 10+ installers/technicians
- Advanced technical knowledge in the structured cabling industry required
- Ability to work varying shifts
- Ability to work in Microsoft Excel & Outlook applications required
- Ability to utilize company specific applications required
- BICSI Certification preferred/not required
- Industry Certifications as plus (i.e. CommScope, Hilti, Panduit, etc.)
- Customer requirements include MMR testing and annual flu vaccination
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds and carry 25 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders and perform the necessary work while on the ladder
- Must have own tools
- Overtime may be required
- Ability to travel to multiple job sites in primarily in Maryland, but may include DC and Virginia
