R&D Engineer Nitinol Tube Drawing (m/f/d)

The R&D Engineer Nitinol Tube Drawing will lead projects to develop and optimize processes for the manufacture and processing of Nitinol tubes for medical applications.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Medical Technology or related fields
• Long-term professional experience as a project engineer in technology and process development, preferably in the regulated environment (medical products and their quality requirements)
• In-depth technical knowledge in the development and manufacture of tubes or other semi-finished products made of the material Nitinol
• Several years of experience with pre- and post-processing methods such as deep hole drilling, heat treatment, shape setting, surface treatment (e.g. electro polishing)
• Practical experience with different methods of project management and use of corresponding tools such as Six Sigma and DOE
• Strong customer orientation with a high focus on goal achievement
• Excellent English skills in speech and writing, relevant for communication with the global Medevio organization and our international customers
• Sovereign, communicative personality with international orientation, who acts results-oriented and independently to solve problems together in the team
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
