We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative mathematician to join our team in a unique role that combines digital resource development, outreach, and teaching. The successful candidate will be involved in a project to create engaging, interactive digital resources aligned to SCQF levels 4-6 and contribute to the development of micro-credentials as an alternative qualification pathway into undergraduate degrees in mathematics and related areas.
Requirements
- PhD in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Mathematical Sciences or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in creating digital learning resources or a clear commitment to developing this expertise.
- Strong understanding of school, college, or early university mathematics curricula, supported by teaching experience at one or more of these levels.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey mathematical ideas in an engaging and accessible way.
- A strong commitment to promoting mathematics and inspiring learners
