Heritage Court Senior Living is seeking Caregivers, CNAs, PCWs, and Resident Assistants to provide quality care to residents in a senior living community. The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate, and able to assist with activities of daily living. Requirements
- Read and understand individualized service plans (ISPs) for each resident
- Attend to residents' individual needs, including assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, eating, incontinence care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulating, range of motion, communicating or other care needs as identified by residents' ISP
- Promptly answer and courteously respond to residents' pages and alarms
- Perform various tasks as assigned, including providing resident care, administering medications (if med passer and delegated by RN), checking vital signs, collecting specimens, laundry, cleaning, dining room set up in a timely manner, etc.
- Ability to frequently lift, move, push or pull objects 50-100lbs; regularly required to stand or walk for long periods of time, frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and lifting
- Ability to speak, write, and read English
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- CNA certification desirable, but not required; completion of CBRF courses desirable, but not required
