Job Description
The Category Engineer-Polymer role involves executing product, process, and system approval activities for smooth development within stipulated time, ensuring quality sustenance and improvement of existing suppliers/components, and establishing product, process, and system approval for new model development. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving competence, and quality planning knowledge. The successful candidate will work on day-to-day basis on testing schedules, component inspections, warranty analysis, and Poka Yoke/Process capability improvement.
Requirements
- Graduation/Diploma in Engineering
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing, and 2-3 years in an automotive firm
- Product (Polymer) process & systems knowledge (especially Moulding, Painting, Stripe and Seat processes)
- Mould Maintenance & Monitoring, Mould Flow Analysis
- Quality Planning
- Problem Solving & Audit competence
- Knowledge of QC Tool
