Job Description
Hevo is seeking a Developer Tools Engineer to design and build internal frameworks and tooling to support the development and operations lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience building frameworks, CLIs, SDKs, or developer-facing libraries/tools, and strong coding ability in one or more languages (Python, Java preferred).
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building frameworks, CLIs, SDKs, or developer-facing libraries/tools
- Strong coding ability in one or more languages (Python, Java preferred)
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (CI/CD, testing, debugging)
- Good understanding of system design concepts (APIs, databases, distributed systems fundamentals, Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS)
- Temperament to design and iterate on tools based on feedback
- Good communication skills — ability to work across engineering, product, infra, and support teams
