Principal Systems/Software Engineer QA

Principal Systems/Software Engineer QA role at HPE in Bengaluru, India. The job involves setting and maintaining quality standards for company products, developing and executing software test strategies, and analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 15+ years experience.
• Experience and thorough understanding of Network/L7 security technologies such as NG Firewall, IDS/IPS systems (commercial/open source)Application identification, SSL Proxy, SDWAN, Web Proxy, User Firewall.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in automation/scripting and programming languages like Python/TCL/Perl/Shell with excellent command on Regular Expressions and good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX internals
• Experience/exposure to L7 protocols such as HTTP, SMB, DNS, SMTP, and IMAP is a plus.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite and Linux working knowledge.
• Ability to research functional specifications, RFCs, other technical documentation and create effective, efficient, innovative solutions.
• Knowledge and working experience in AI/ML/DL area is a plus
• Good team player with a can-do attitude and ability to demonstrate large scale project execution spanning geographies/counterpart teams.
