
Job description
As a Sales Specialist at HPE, you will work in a hybrid role, splitting time between the office and remote work. You will be responsible for leading pursuit in assigned focus areas, collaborating with account managers, and driving proactive campaigns to build the pipeline. You will use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities.
Responsibilities include seeking out new opportunities, expanding and enhancing existing opportunities, maintaining knowledge of competitors, developing pursuit plans, and establishing professional relationships with clients. You will also contribute to proposal development, negotiations, and deal closings.
This role requires demonstrated success in achieving progressively higher quota, extensive vertical industry knowledge, and typically 5-8 years of advanced sales experience. You will need to be able to negotiate and drive deals, understand customer needs, and apply standard and creative solutions to meet those needs.
