Job Description
The Instrumentation and Controls Technician is responsible for identifying, locating and correcting operational problems arising in control systems and instruments. This includes performing testing, calibration, repair, and replacement of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation in accordance with ISO requirements and site procedures.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of the repair and maintenance of control and instrumentation equipment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, technical manuals and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- 5+ years of Instrumentation and Controls experience in a chemical plant or similar industry preferred
