The Home for Little Wanderers is a team of therapists who work intensively with a child and his or her family in their home for a period of 3 weeks or 3 months.
Job Description
We are seeking a Therapeutic Training & Support Specialist to join our team at Safe at Home Program in Somerville, MA. The ideal candidate will provide individual and family based therapeutic services, crisis intervention and case management to families of children aged 3-21.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Criminal Justice, or Psychology
- Experience with behavior management systems, treatment planning, crisis intervention, case management and providing individual, group and/or family therapy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Department of Social Services and other local child and family advocate agencies
- Driver’s License and car
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, with the ability to learn new software applications
