Property & Casualty Claims Consultant

This Claims Consultant position involves accurate reporting and filing of claim notices, resolving claims disputes, and providing customer service. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on timely task completion and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Reports to the Claims Operations Manager and/or Team Lead on workflow issues and the handling of assigned claims inventory
• Understand Claims Handling guidelines and Workflows
• Ability to train in Sagitta and ImageRight, including document uploads and complete tasks
• Ability to analyze insurance policies for coverage eligibility
• Reporting claims to assigned Carrier under appropriate lines of coverage
• Communicating with clients by phone; returning voice messages
• Emailing clients with timely responses
• Emailing Carriers for Follow up and Claims Status
• Processing incoming electronic and physical mail with appropriate filing and follow up
• Serving as a liaison between clients, carriers, adjusters, vendors and contractors
• Communicating claims status with company producers
• Takes ownership of assigned work process and provides excellent customer service
• Performs all other related duties as assigned
