Job Description
This part-time English and Spanish-speaking Medical Interpreter position assists patients in HHH with Spanish-speaking needs. The interpreter translates between Spanish and English, provides culturally informed care to the Latino population, and facilitates patient education. Responsibilities also include transportation and patient representation at community events.
Requirements
- Native Spanish-speaking proficiency.
- At least 2 years experience interpreting between Spanish and English in a health care setting.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record.
- Cultural understanding of the local Latino population.
