Job Description
The RBT/ABA Support Assistant assists students in the classroom setting and facilitates small group and individual instruction. The ideal candidate would possess the following competencies: building relationships, communication, ability to evaluate alternatives, interpersonal skills, ability to listen and motivate, teamwork, and create plans and goal set.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification or ABA Training equivalent
- One of the following: An Associate's degree (or higher), 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university, or Met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading (or readiness), writing (or readiness), and mathematics (or readiness), CBEST test.
