Special Education Academic Coach I

The Special Education Academic Coach I is responsible for ensuring that students with diverse needs have access to our general education curriculum. Assist students in the classroom, small group, and individual instruction, and provide input for evaluation and parent conference upon request.

Requirements

• Assist with the instruction and supervision of students who may have learning differences
• Assist with tutorial activities working with an individual or group of students who may have learning differences
• Monitor student progress and provide input for evaluation and parent conference upon request
• Establish rapport and meaningful relationships with referred students to assist in improving their behavior, educational performance, and social relationships
• Perform clerical support duties including typing, completing documents, forms, record, correspondence
