Special Education Academic Coach II

High Tech High seeks a Special Education Academic Coach II to assist students within the classroom setting and facilitate small group and individual instruction. The ideal candidate will possess competencies in building relationships, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Assist teachers by working with individual students with mild/moderate behavioral or academic needs on a one-to-one basis
• Assist with the instruction and supervision of students who may have learning differences
• Monitor student progress and provide input for evaluation using provided templates / resources
• Establish rapport and meaningful relationships with referred students
• Perform clerical support duties including typing, completing documents, forms, record, correspondence
