Job Description
Hillside is seeking a Youth Care Professional I to support youth and families by providing relationship-based, competence-centered, and trauma-informed solutions. The role involves engaging youth and families in productive relationships, maintaining safety, providing mentorship and support services, and ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained.
Requirements
- CPR certification (or obtainable within 60 days) and valid NYS driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities demonstrating the Hillside Professional Competencies
- Demonstrate emotional and good judgment in building relationships.
- Ability to identify and address dysregulated behavior, using TCI techniques.
- Proficiency in verbal and non-verbal de-escalation.
- Adherence to all agency and regulatory mandated reporting protocols.
