The Director of Sales will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day sales efforts, directing sales, training, and implementing action plans set forth in the marketing plan. They will lead a team to achieve sales targets, develop sales plans, and build relationships with convention companies, conference service companies, and travel agents. The Director of Sales will also be responsible for setting personal sales goals, managing key accounts, and working with the Sales, Marketing Communications, and Revenue Management teams to adjust team bookings to achieve maximum productivity within the hotel.
