The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of progressive experience as a Sous Chef or in a higher-ranking culinary role, and experience executing large-scale events and managing food costs effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Sous Chef or in a higher-ranking culinary role
- Experience in executing large-scale, high-volume events and banquets
- Strong understanding of inventory control systems and ability to manage food costs effectively
- Proven ability to thrive in a busy and demanding kitchen setting
- Highly organized with ability to develop and implement detailed plans
- Prior experience managing a team in a unionized environment
- Demonstrated skill in conceptualizing and executing innovative dishes
- Prior experience working in a hotel culinary department
- Proven experience as an effective and adaptable leader
