Restaurant Manager

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the strategic management of the Restaurant, maintaining a high customer service focus and taking personal responsibility to resolve issues. The role involves contributing ideas to enhance operational procedures, promoting hotel services, and ensuring safety and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• 2-4 years managerial position in a 4/5-star category hotel
• Familiar with computer systems
• Motivated and committed
• Flexible and responds quickly to changing requirements
• Maintain high team focus
• Strong leadership, people management, and training skills
• Guest oriented and able to build and exceed service standards
• Thorough knowledge of service, cost control, labour controls, beverage menu writing, maintenance, merchandising, computer, and accountings
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to details
• Key strengths in people management, communication, and planning
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations
• Considerable skills in math and algebraic equations using percentages
• Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations
• Outgoing personality and willing to work for long hours
