Hilton Vancouver Washington is seeking a Senior Catering Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in catering and events, specifically within a hotel setting, and be able to manage the end-to-end event lifecycle, from initial client pitches and proposal development through to contract finalization and execution.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in catering and events, specifically within a hotel setting.
- Proven ability to manage the end-to-end event lifecycle, from initial client pitches and proposal development through to contract finalization and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships, with a particular emphasis on working with non-profit organizations.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals, contributing to overall revenue targets.
- Proven experience in managing and executing events for up to 1,000 attendees, ensuring seamless operations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for client interactions and internal coordination.
- Flexible and adaptable with schedule to meet the dynamic needs of the business, including potential evening and weekend work.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients and colleagues on a personal level.
- Working knowledge or experience with Delphi or a similar property sales management system.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for client interactions and internal coordination.
