Our client is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Leader 2 with experience in the design and implementation of fire alarm system applications. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of IBC, NEC, and NFPA codes as they apply to life safety systems for commercial facilities and plants.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in applications engineering, including at least 5 years of project leadership managing budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- B.S. degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management.
- Familiarity with IBC, NEC, and NFPA codes, or ability to quickly ramp up in these areas.
- Experience managing electrical projects between $500K–$10M.
- Proficiency with contract documentation (drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.).
- Experience using project management, CPM scheduling, costing, and AutoCAD software.
- Ability to interpret technical plans, blueprints, and scopes of work.
- Proven record of completing projects on-time and under budget.
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
