Job Description
HireNow Staffing is partnering with a nationally respected Am Law 200 firm to recruit a seasoned Construction Litigation Associate Attorney for its Los Angeles office. This role is designed for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, consistent courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to deepen expertise within a sophisticated construction-focused practice.
Requirements
- Manage assigned construction litigation matters with primary file responsibility
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery-related motions
- Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and fact witnesses
- Conduct legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, briefs, and memoranda
- Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit management
- Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and case strategy discussions
- Collaborate with partners and team members to deliver effective client advocacy
