Director, Data Center Business Development

The Director of Data Center Business Development is responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives across the data center ecosystem, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, developers, EPCs, and technology partners. This role will lead complex, multi-business-unit pursuits and develop strategic partnerships that accelerate Hitachi’s data center business across power, digital, cooling, automation, and infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategy within data centers, power infrastructure, energy, or digital industries
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power systems, grid interconnection, cooling, digital platforms, and resiliency
• Proven experience leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits
• Ability to work effectively across matrixed, global organizations
• Strong executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
