Job Description
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to develop and implement supplier quality management processes and procedures. The successful candidate will collaborate with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to define quality requirements and monitor supplier performance. The role requires a master's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in supplier quality management.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D, PPAP, APQP)
- Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Certification in quality (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer/Auditor) is a plus
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required
