Hitachi Energy is looking for a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to develop and implement supplier quality management processes and procedures. The role involves collaborating with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to define quality requirements, monitoring supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or relevant technical field) or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality management, quality assurance, or a related role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the energy or heavy industry sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D, PPAP, APQP).
- Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
