Associate Director, Intellectual Property Valuation

HKA is a leading global consultancy in risk mitigation, dispute resolution, expert witness and litigation support. We are seeking an Associate Director, Intellectual Property Valuation to join our Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages (FACD) practice.

Requirements

• Evaluate and quantify economic damages and remedies in different types of matters including patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and breach of contract litigations.
• Draft expert reports for testifying expert to review.
• Make strategic recommendations, identify issues, and communicate with the testifying expert on the direction of the case.
• Direct, review, and provide feedback on the work product and analyses of junior team members.
• Communicate and lead meetings with counsel, clients, or other experts.
• Prepare the testifying expert for deposition and trials.
• Perform business development activities.
• Deliver trainings and develop colleagues.
