The Engineer, Estates Office is responsible for leading a team of frontline staff and managing contractors to perform the operation and maintenance of building services and fitting-out projects on all campuses of the University. Responsibilities include taking part in day-to-day electrical and mechanical plant operations, ensuring equipment and facilities are serviced and maintained, and overseeing building services fitting-out works.
Requirements
- Recognised degree in Mechanical /Building Services/ Electrical Engineering or above
- Minimum of six years' relevant post-qualification experience in building services or a higher diploma with substantial years of relevant experience
- Familiar with statutory requirements and Codes of Practice
- Valid Registered Electrical Worker Grade B or above
- Excellent knowledge of building services engineering and associated work experience in design, installation, operation and maintenance
- Experience in computer-aided design (AutoCAD), facilities management, operation and maintenance of Heating, Ventilation & Air conditioning systems is highly desired
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
