High School Special Education Teacher (Service Provider)

Hmong College Prep Academy is seeking a High School Special Education Teacher - Service Provider to provide individualized instruction to students in grades K-12. This role focuses on students with learning, behavioral, or emotional support needs, collaborating with general education teachers, and advocating for student needs in an IEP team. The position requires maintaining confidentiality and utilizing data to improve student outcomes.

Requirements

• Current MN teaching license in Special Education (K-age 21)
• Knowledge of due process procedures
• Strong classroom management and presentation skills
• Knowledge of instructional technologies
• Knowledge of research and trends in teaching and student learning
• Ability to adapt to diverse student populations
• Ability to implement class activities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of curriculum areas and preferred literacy skills
• Knowledge of multicultural curriculum concepts
