Job Description
Hmong College Prep Academy is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher (Service Provider) to provide a flexible and individualized learning experience for students with IEPs. This role involves instructing students in grade-level content, adapting to student reading and math skill levels, and collaborating with general education teachers. The School Year position is exclusive to providing special education services with a focus on student success and fostering a positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Current MN teaching license in Special Education (K-age 21, grade 12)
- Knowledge of due process procedures
- Strong classroom presentation and management skills
- Knowledge of instructional technologies
- Knowledge of research and trends in teaching
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Ability to adapt instructional routines and scaffolding
