Middle School Special Education Teacher (Service Provider)

Hmong College Prep Academy is seeking a Middle School Special Education Teacher to provide services within an inclusive, challenges-based educational environment for at-risk students in grades K-12. The role focuses on providing individualized instruction, collaborating with general education teachers, and advocating for student needs. The position operates under a Title I Charter School status and requires adherence to relevant policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Current MN teaching license in one or more of the specified categories (Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Deaf or Hard of Hearing, Oral/Aural Education, or Special Education) with a 3+ years of teaching experience.
• Knowledge and experience with due process procedures.
• Strong skills in classroom presentation and management.
• Knowledge of instructional technologies.
• Knowledge of research and trends in teaching and student learning.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
• Ability to adapt instructional routines to diverse student populations.
• Ability to implement classroom activities that foster problem solving and critical thinking.
