Special Education Teacher (Case Manager)

Hmong College Prep Academy is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Case Manager) to create and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. This role involves collaboration with general education teachers and providing support to teachers in the classroom. The position requires knowledge of state and district policies, while also maintaining confidentiality and adhering to established practices.

Requirements

• Current MN teaching license in one or more of the following: Special Education, Special Education, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Deaf or Hard of Hearing, or Oral/Aural Education.
• 3+ years of teaching experience.
• Knowledge of due process procedures.
• Strong skills in classroom presentation and management.
• Knowledge of instructional technologies.
• Knowledge of research and trends in teaching and student learning.
• Ability to adapt Instructional routines to diverse student populations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
